Microvideos

I used to lament the lack of resources for creating some of the videos I imagined: lack of space, particularly, and the lack of building materials to create fantastic structures and sets. Finally, I thought, “If I can’t create big, what if I went the other way and created small?”

Thus, what I call microvideos were created. These aren’t extreme close-ups of objects like insect legs or flower stamens, inviting the viewer to guess what they really are. Instead, they are visions mini-worlds—surreal, dreamlike, unfamiliar—made by experimenting with light, color, motion, and texture.
